Checkboxes are used on a form to retrieve multiple selection input from the form user. Unlike a radio button which supports only one selection, all, some or none of the items in the list can be selected.
One of the nice features of the eXFORMA checkbox, is the ability to store and display information differently. In the example below, we have chosen to store the H1, H2, H3 as the values in our database repository to represent the items ‘Item 1’, ‘Item 2’ and
‘Item 3’. We can replace the displayed value of items by changing the corresponding value in the ‘Labels’ property. Each value is separated by the <enter> keystroke, and the first entry of the Labels property corresponds to the first entry in the Values property and the second entry in Labels corresponds with the second entry in Values and so forth.
The Checkbox element can also be styled to suit the display needs of the designer. The label position for the list elements can be aligned to the left or to the right of the checkbox, the list can be displayed horizontally or vertically and it can be broken into multiple columns for display.
Label Position and Column number are not supported. MobiTask will always render the checkbox to the left of the item label. The designer can still select horizontal or vertical alignment.
